With the worst global pandemic we’ve seen in over a century, it’s more important now than ever to make sure the truth about animal agriculture is reported in its entirety.

Swine flu, SARS, and COVID-19 are all diseases spread to humans by animal agriculture—through the captivity, slaughter, and consumption of animals.

We understand this link, but mainstream media outlets continuously overlook and underreport the real reason we are in the midst of a global pandemic. When outlets do report on animals, the stories are often incomplete and lack the editorial prowess required to understand the threat zoonotic diseases pose to global economies and human health.

Our species cannot survive if we continue exploiting farmed animals and the planet. If global food systems do not evolve, future outbreaks are not only probable, but inevitable. Your donation will help us break through the media bias and report on the underlying causes of this global pandemic.
