In this series, Sentient dives into four different communities, and the four unique ways that they’re combatting slaughterhouses in their neighborhoods. With stories ranging from out west in Greeley, Colorado to down south in the Atlanta suburb of Lithonia, Georgia, we spoke with advocates about what’s worked for them — and where the challenges remain.
