Jasmine C. Perry is an independent filmmaker and actress based out of Los Angeles. She directed "The Invisible Vegan," a documentary about health in the black community that can be found on Amazon Prime, and prior to directing her own films, she starred in several national commercials and worked as a producer on Being, America's Got Talent and other network shows. Leyva also manages a career readiness program for former foster care youth in Los Angeles County, she is a published author for healthy children's books, and she is working on her next documentary around the psychology behind our eating choices.
