Susannah Savage

Susannah is the Bureau’s lead antimicrobial resistance reporter. She joined the Bureau after three years as a foreign correspondent based in Bangladesh for the Economist. Prior to this she reported from a range of countries across Africa, Africa and Europe. She has written extensively on global health security, climate change and women’s rights and carried out investigations into government corruption. She was the Nico Colchester fellow at the Economist in 2016. Her freelance writing has appeared in the Atlantic, the Financial Times and the Telegraph.
